As a leader, consider what system is going to work best in terms of follow-up on feedback. Do you need to make a note of it in your calendar, or set an alert. Another way to follow up is to make a standard practice of the employee reach out to you with the update, or sending an email to the supervisor to update them, or having them schedule the meeting, Regular team meetings or huddles can also provide a vehicle of communication around steps taken around feedback commitments and action plans.
Questions to consider:
- What commitments do I need to follow up on?
- What is going to make this feedback loop easy?
- What is going to make this feedback loop impactful?
- What system is going to help me track the follow up needed?
