Potentials Realized works with organizations to create customized leadership development programs. Grounded in a coaching approach, our leadership development programs usually involve elements of training, coaching and mentoring. Program elements weave the best of training, experiential education, coaching, and scenario based learning together. Dialogue, practice and application are emphasized throughout our work.

We are particularly experienced in the development of global leadership capability and also specialize in team leadership support.

Coaching  - Leadership Development
We specialize in training leaders in coaching skills as well as executive coaching and team and group coaching.

Executive,  Team and Group Coaching Support:
Coaching supports the application of training for new leaders. Coaching also supports them in deepening their self-awareness and awareness around issues they are facing.
Coaching also provides support for action they need to take as leaders.

Individual Coaching support typically include two hours of coaching each month by phone, taken in weekly or bi-weekly conversations. They also include three, three-way meetings with the client and their supervisor to support the integration of the coaching around core business priorities. In addition, we often integrate assessments including the Everything DiSC (363 for Leaders, Workplace DiSC or the Work of Leaders Profiles) or strengths-based assessments. Leadership development programs can also be supported by group coaching programming, bringing together groups of new leaders for sustained conversation and focus. Group coaching can be positioned as a follow-on to your current leadership development programming, or can be developed for existing leaders who have the skills but could benefit from real-time focus on core leadership issues. Scalability, the development of cross-functional relationships, and silos softening are some of the real benefits of group coaching. Coaching Skills Training for Leaders - In House, Public Programs and Virtual Deliveries

We bring more than 10 years experience in designing and delivering "Coach-the-Coach programs" and offer several coaching skills training programs which have been reviewed and approved by the International Coach federation including the Group Coaching Essentials(TM) program, the Advanced Group and Team Coaching Practicum and the Team and Group Coaching Intensive. Over the last 10 years we have delivered these as in-house programs to groups of 8-10 leaders in organizations ranging from health care, to insurance, to global organizations to government.

We also custom deliver one, two and five day coaching skills training programs for leaders. Leaders at all levels can benefit from enhanced Coaching Skills training. Some of our clients have included the UNICEF WCARO Regional office, and The Scarborough Hospital.

E-Learning - Coaching and Mentoring Skills training
In 2015 we developed an interactive E-Learning Program on Coaching and Mentoring Skills training. Consisting of 8 modules (approximately 6 hours)  with quizzes and interactive animated scenarios, this program is available for organizations who use Articulate StoryLine2. Mentoring
Mentoring is  an important part of any leadership development process. Mentors provide new leaders with their insights and stories about the practical realities of leading in an organization or industry.

Part of our support for leaders include mentor training and mentor support services. We have designed award winning mentor skills training for the financial services sector.

Most recently, to expand our support in this area,  we have developed the Mentor Roadmap(TM) and provide a number of resources including mentor skills training, 
mentor/protege workbooks and mentor program development. Our related site Mentor RoadMap (TM)  was launched earlier this year in the spring of 2014. The Mentor RoadMap is a joint venture with Professional Coach Susan Combs based out of Michigan.

Through the Mentor RoadMap(TM) we are pleased to be able to offer training support for mentors and mentees, annual mentor program support, as well as the Mentor RoadMap Toolkits for Mentors and Mentees (30 page workbooks to support the mentoring conversation, with a mentoring log, and information on skills, exercises and conversation starters, View the Mentor RoadMap site here.
