In any team or group it is likely that you have an Innovative Experimenter as part of the team.
Some key points to consider with the Innovative Experimenter on the team:
nnovative Experimenters are often the creatives on the team. They are the metaphorical travelers and voyagers who travel to distant lands. They usually expand on what's possible and are often seen as the radical idea generator or disruptive person on the team. Characteristics: The Innovative Experimenter is a creative who likes to expand what's possible. Innovative Experimenters are often seen a the one on a team who expands what's possible, begin either incremental or disruptive with their changes. For Innovative Experimenters it is all about putting elements together and the combination of everything!
Superpower: Scientific process and creativity. Innovative Experimenters are also about the combinations of things.
Role preference: Research and Development. New Ideas. Inventors. Engineers. Entrepreneurs or Intrapreneurs if they are in an organization.
Energy Source: Innovative Experimenters get their energy from trying things out and seeing what will happen. They are well known for their saying "Let's innovate and iterate!
They Bring: A mix of curiosity, play and experimentation
They Value: Learning, Experimentation, Growth, Disruption
They Need : The Freedom and autonomy to innovate and not be told to “stay in their lane”. The time and resources to be able to innovate.
