As someone who has been very active in the volunteer space throughout my lifetime, particularly in my former work in the international sector, I have seen the benefits for volunteerism for myself and the people I have worked with. Volunteering can create new experiences and connections that last a lifetime.
Whether it's donating some time as a team at the local food bank, or supporting a community based project like a building rehab or play area clean up, volunteering as a team together can be a great team development process with a purpose.
