A lot of people think that high performance is about always being on, and always doing things. In fact, what the research shows is that teams which excel are great at renewing after a long haul. It's important that we take down the pace and renew before jumping into the next big project.
While it may not feel like there is time, even a few days of working at a slower pace, or some time off or away from the office can assist in renewal.
Questions to Consider :
When was the last time you renewed after a big project completion or program delivery (presentation, meeting etc)? What impact did it have?
What does renewal mean for you?
What renewal could you, and the team benefit from right now? What would that provide?
