As I wrote back in the Teams365 post #323 on habits, habits are consistent actions which help us move more into flow.
As habits become more ingrained ways of doing things - for example, spending five minutes at the end of the day reviewing key activities and meetings the next day OR making a habit to get out of the office at lunch two days a week to hit the gym or pool. These activities become part of the structures of our life and work.
What are the habits you want to adopt? Some of the common habits I've heard from team leaders in the past ten plus years have been - to make sure team meetings become a habit (every week, two weeks etc), to hold one-on-ones more regularly, to get on top of filing/email management daily, to make a conscious effort to hold more regular 1-1s with my boss etc.
This weekend, take time to think of one habit you would like to put attention around this year, and schedule it in!
Enjoy this first weekend of 2016!
Best wishes,
Jennifer
