I've been spending a lot of time lately talking about the impact of focus and listening in the coaching conversation. I continue to see many leaders still think that they are listening and paying attention when they are working on their phones or on emails while engaging in a conversation with a team member.
Today's quote reminds you that five minutes of focused conversation has much more impact than twenty minutes when you are really "not 100% focused" or present with your staff.
