We know that accountability is a critical factor in high performing teams. They are are committed to do what they say they will do and they are also committed to one another.
This week talk with each other about what accountability means for you collectively and individually. How do people want to be held accountable? Do they want "feet held to the fire"? Do they want regular check-ins or to be left to run.
As I shared in an earlier blog post (Teams365 #198) here's a quote from the book the OZ Principle which takes a deep dive into the topic of accountability:
" Accountability is the guiding principle that defines how we make commitments to one another, how we measure and report our progress how we interact when things go wrong, and how much ownership we take to get things done. It is, in essence, the nerve center that runs throughout every part of the organization and through every working relationship to every member of every team. Have a great Thursday,
