In Primal Leadership (2004, pg 256) Goleman, Boyatsis, and McKee write the following about Teamwork and Collaboration
"Leaders who are able team players generate an atmosphere of friendly collegiality and are themselves models of respect, helpfulness and cooperation. They draw others into active, enthusiastic commitment to the collective effort,a nd build spirit and identify. They spent time forging and cementing close relationships beyond mere work obligations"
As you consider yourself, how do you stack up in these areas?
Teamwork and collaboration are major themes of this blog. You may want to quickly review some of our Teams365 cartoons for quite soundbytes (or visual bytes) on related topics.
You can also read what I have written about collaboration here.
Best wishes,
Jennifer
