Today I wanted to share naother strengths based resource - the VIA Strengths Survey, which points to a person's Signature STrengths. Signature Strengths as characteristics be tend to lead from. One of mine is Love of Learning, and in the last eleven years of my work I have been able to focus on this each and every day. Prior to starting Potentials Realized almost eleven years ago, leading training sessions and developing my team enabled me to put my strength of Love of Learning, was only one of many focus areas I had in my work. For many years I was conscious of how much I loved focusing on these areas, and also noticing the tension of how little time I could spend on them?
Back in 2004 I first heard about the VIA Strengths Profile and quickly completed it online. It's a free online assessment which takes only 15-20 minutes to complete. You can access it at ViaCharacter.org.
What are your Signature Strengths? How do you get to use them every day? What about your team? What do you notice about their strengths - individually? Collectively?
Have a great week,
Jennifer
