The first 90 days of a person’s role can make or break an experience. It also is something that is overlooked by many. This was why I decided that my latest book, 90-Day Guide for Success, would be dedicated to exploring this often under-explored topic.
I’m pleased to note that over the next 3 weeks we will be taking a deeper dive into Chapter 12 of Reconnecting Workspaces, as well as some of the content from the 90-Day Guide for Success, book two in the Reconnecting Workspaces series.
Here’s what I share in chapter 12 of Reconnecting Workspaces:
“In creating a robust remote and hybrid workspace, onboarding experiences create multiple opportunities for people to learn more about their roles and responsibilities and to meet key contacts from across the organization.
Onboarding should spend time to introduce your unique corporate culture—from mantras and mottos to your unique stories and heroes.
Who can support your new hires? What job shadowing opportunities will support them? What is important to communicate during the first 90 days of the onboarding experience?”
