Summer 2021 headlines continue to reflect some of the sweeping change that mark our current decade. Everywhere you turn with summer’s headlines you may find notice of what some are indicating could be the “Great Resignation”. If you have not heard of it, it’s estimated that workers around the world will be resigning from their roles in massive amounts.
There are many different theories behind this including:
#1 – The pandemic has provided the opportunity for many employees to reassess what’s important to them, recognizing that the role they were in might not be the best fit.
#2 – The usual attrition which would naturally exist in the workplace has not happened to the same amount since early 2020, leading to a spike now.
#3 – Employees not being interested in returning to the same work environment or role.
