There are many different theories behind this including:
#1 – The pandemic has provided the opportunity for many employees to reassess what’s important to them, recognizing that the role they were in might not be the best fit.
#2 – The usual attrition which would naturally exist in the workplace has not happened to the same amount since early 2020, leading to a spike now.
#3 – Employees not being interested in returning to the same work environment or role.
There are several good articles that I have shared around this at the Virtual and Remote Visionaries Hub –https://www.facebook.com/groups/314116869730339/.
What are you noticing about workplace movement and attrition right now? What are your plans for the next phase of your career as things open up?
Enjoy your reflection,
Jennifer
