2583 – Stand Out Virtually Principle – Connect people
2590 – Weave your brand through your program
2527 – Things Get Magnified
2423 - Stand Out Virtually with PERC (my perfect call formula!). Do you have all 4 ingredients?
Today’s principle is an invitation to consider how you can involve all different learning styles in a conversation. From Visual, to Auditory, to Kinesthetic Approaches, we want to create a multi-sensory experience. Consider these elements:
Visual – Visual metaphors including photos, drawings or other media use. Visual input may also include Whiteboarding in the virtual space, Sketch noting or other journaling practices. What can you do to help people zoom into the metaphors of the conversation, or explore the elements?
Auditory – Sound, Dialogue and Discussion. Auditory channels involve our ears, which are an important channel into synthesis and connecting the dots via peer learning.
Kinesthetic – Hands on Activities including the use of annotation, chat, drawing or actually getting people moving (safely) during the call. This could involve doing a stretch, a walk (safely) around their space (away from the computer for a few minutes!) or even drumming!
What are the different ways you are going to invite kinesthetic activities?
Enjoy your conversations,
Jennifer
