This week's Effective Virtual Conversation tip #21 reminds us that "closing a session is just as important as opening a session". We tend to remember the start and end of things, and in meetings and presentations, having a strong close is as important as having a strong start.
Consider these ways to close off with your next presentation:
1. Doing a recap of the top items from your presentation;
2. Asking the group for key takeaways;
3. Getting everyone to identify their top 3 takeaways
4. Discussing "What's next?"
We often remember how we feel, so what can you do to support the emotional connection with your presentation. Is there a video or visual that can accompany your presentation?
