Delegation is not only about thinking about what you want to hand off to others, it is also about what you can hand off to others. In delegating think about the following:
What are the tasks that can be done by others?
What are the tasks that only you can do yourself?
What does success or completion look like for each task?
What are the steps for task completion?
What are the milestones towards completion?
When and how will you check in long the way?
Who has the skills to complete the job?
Who would enjoy or final valuable the task?
As you go to delegate have you clearly communicated why this task is important to complete?
