Some key pointers when thinking about listening :
What are you listening for? Are you noticing what the person is saying (the words) or are you focusing on their body language?
What do you notice about the energy shifts?
What is being said? Not being said?
If you consider listening in a group or team context, what do you notice about the connection points?
Great listening skills are not only important for communication, and avoiding conflict, but good listening can demonstrate empathy and also emotional intelligence.
Consider what is important and where your listening skills are.
