At the heart of any coaching conversation is a relationship based on trust, connection and a safe environment for people to explore the topics most important to them. This may involve movning out of our comfort zones, trying things out, having things not work, and also facing fears. Coaching conversations may also take us into learning about and leveraging our strengths, getting clear on what we want and what we don’t want, as well as supporting us to get to our goals quicker and possibly in different ways then we would have done alone.
Whether you are joining a coaching group or receiving coaching one-on-one, trusting those you are in dialogue with is key. Trust is built over time and is reciprocal.
