As I've been writing throughout the year, I hope that these ideas will be useful for all team members whether in a formal leadership role or not. Especially in a virtual team, the idea of everyone being a leader is essential. A significant focus of my former work as a virtual leader was around capacity building, and empowering the team members over the long term for sustainability and organizational impact, topics I touch on in part three my latest book, From One to Many: Best Practices for Team and Group Coaching (Jossey-Bass, 2014).
