Business is done through relationships. Relationship Management is one of the components of the EI Model. The skills which underlie relationship management are critical in today's business context.

In his book, Primal Leadership, Daniel Goleman identifies the following skills as leadership competencies under Relationship Management:

Change Catalyst
Conflict Management
Teamwork and Collaboration
