As Covey writes in the Speed of Trust, when trust is broken it is like a negative withdrawal from a bank account.. A trust withdrawal is always larger than a trust deposit. A trust deposit can be made by following through, accepting responsibility for something that did not go right, righting wrongs, and also walking our talk or modelling what we talk about.
