Teams 365 #109: Parkinson's Rule

I first read about Parkinson's Rule in Tim Ferris' Four Day Workweek. Parkinson's Rule asserts that tasks expand to the amount of time you give them.

Think about some of the recent tasks or projects which kept growing and growing in size - scope creep! Did you have a fit amount of time allocated to getting it done?

Sometimes in setting up our activities we fail to create a boundary or container of time to give it.

I find this really applies to some fo the writing work I undertake.

What projects or tasks could benefit from giving them a fixed time limit so they don't continue on and on and on?
