Strong business results in the remote and hybrid space is not just about setting better goals, accountability and tracking. It’s also about relationships. No person is an island, as I explored back in 2019 in one of my monthly community calls.
What can we do to build relationships within the remote and hybrid space
Be intentional – What relationships are important to build? Maintain? Amplify?
Who are you reaching out to – With algorithms and social media, it’s easy to get pulled into certain orbits of people. Who are you connecting with? What will expand your reach?
Have a purpose – Relationship development can take time, and shouldn’t be at the expense of getting things done. What is the reason you want to boost your relationships? Why do you want to spend time doing t his?
Build in time – What doesn’t get scheduled, doesn’t get done. How much time are you going to earmark for this?
Relationships are the essential element, or magic sauce, to making things work in the remote and hybrid world. What attention do you want to put around this right now?
