We know that teams which are able to leverage their strengths are more productive. Individuals who leverage their strengths also report a higher Quality of Life.
Ways to explore strengths in your team:
- Take time to discuss this. It can be challenging for some professionals to talk about their strengths. If this the case, spend time supporting them to have this discussion. This could entail having each team member complete a strengths based assessment such as VIA Strengths, or StrengthsFinder 2.0
- Provide resourcing or dedicated time around this. This can be a great focus for professional development or team events.
