Train the Trainer and Facilitation Skills Training:
Potentials Realized also offer train-the-trainer programs and facilitation skills training programs to enable you to equip your staff with the skills they need in facilitation or training. These can be delivered in-house or offsite across North America.
These programs typically run for 1 - 3 days in length and can be customized for your specific needs and budget. Offered as a one or two day program, this is a train the trainer program geared to help professionals develop and practice group facilitation skills. Both new and experienced group facilitators will benefit.
Facilitation Skills Training
During this intensive two day program you will learn:
• The skills and competencies and best practices of
successful facilitators
• How your skills compare through a Facilitator
Self-Assessment
• Specific techniques to conduct and debrief learning
activities
• How to identify participant learning styles and preferences
and implement facilitation techniques to accommodate
them
• To be sensitive to different phases of group formation
and how to adapt your facilitation styles accordingly
• Specific techniques on how to deal with difficult
participants
• To develop strategies to adjust on-the-fly when necessary
during the learning event
• To create a positive climate for learning
• How to manage the logistics and finer details of managing
a learning event (in-person or virtually/by phone)
You will also:
• Prepare a personal development plan including strategies
to further practice your new facilitation skills in your work.
• Receive:
• a comprehensive resource guide of web-based and
printed material
• a resource guide of facilitation exercises and tools
you can implement into your next team and
facilitation work
• 15 hours of instruction
• A group follow-up call one month after
the in-person intensive to check in on your
facilitation skills practice
Additional modules can be added to the program to address more specific needs for organizations such as:

Training Essentials™ : Train the Trainer Programs:
The Training Essentials™ program is a flagship program of Potentials Realized, first rolled out in 2004. This is a scalable program for organizations, and can be offered on-site, offsite and also with e-learning or teleseminar components.
This program is for professionals within the organization who will have responsibility for training others - managers, supervisors, internal HR staff.
This is typically delivered as a 2-3 day program. Shorter and longer programs will adjust for content accordingly.

Coaching Skills for Managers: Are you looking to equip your managers and supervisors with enhanced coaching skills? We offer a number of programs specifically geared for equipping managers and leaders with basic coaching skills, ranging from a half day workshop to a more advanced 3 day program.
